Purette D. Bethea-Mills
She is a (44) year Adventist educator who attended Oakwood College, Pacific Union College, Southwestern Adventist University and the University of South Carolina, a Masters in Educational Leadership. She is a K-12 certified guidance counselor, administrator, K-6 choral director, K-8 classroom teacher, and Physic Education instructor. She has taught every grade from pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade in (9) conferences and (11) U.S. cities including Atlanta. (Mrs. Mills was the interim principal and vice-principal at Decatur Adventist Jr. Academy.)
She is and has been a presenter for the NAD (North American Division) in the area of Children's Ministries since 1989 and has facilitated seminars nationwide and in other countries. She has three wonderful adult sons, Aaron Todd Mills, Arell Tory Mills, and Arion Tevon Mills. Her burden is to see children saved in God's kingdom and that is why her passion is and has always been to use exciting and fun methods to lead every child in that direction.
